Magdalena Langman was born in 1992 in Gdansk. She began learning the violin at the age of 7 in the F. Nowowiejski Primary and Secondary Music School in Gdansk. She is also a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Complex of State Music Schools number 4 in Warsaw, the class of Professor Jan Stanienda. In 2013 – 2014 she was a student of Accademia Santa Cecilia in Bergamo in the class of Prof. Pavel Vernikov and assistant Svetlana Makarova. She started violin studies at Fryderyk Chopin Music University in Warsaw in the class of Prof. Jan Stanienda and next – Prof. Konstanty Andrzej Kulka. At present, she studies at Haute École de Musique in Lausanne in the class of Prof. Renaud Capuçon.

Magdalena took part in European Music Workshops in Kolobrzeg (Prof. Jan Stanienda), Janowiec Music Interpretations in Janowiec on Vistula (Prof. Jan Stanienda), Master Violin Workshops in Gdansk (Prof. K. A. Kulka), music workshops of the OFAM scholarship program in Konstancin Jeziorna, Summer Academy of the International Chamber Music Festival Allegro Vivo Horn, Austria (professor. Igor Petrushevski), Easter Violin Master Class Blonay, Switzerland (Prof. P. Vernikov), Violin Master Class Bergamo in Italy (Professor P. Vernikov), Moritzburg Festival Academy (Moritzburg, Germany) and Summer Music Academy (Hundisburg, Germany). She has given concerts in many European countries: Austria, Italy, Belgium, Slovakia and Germany (recital invitations from the Deutsch – Polnische Gesellschaft Kiel e.V).

2008 – 3rd prize on VIth National Violin Competition „Young Paganini” in Legnica
2007 – 3rd prize on IInd „Groblicz Family” National Violin Competition in Cracow
2006 – 1st prize on National Violin Competition „Con Variazioni” in Bydgoszcz

Awards on an International Competitions:
2016 – 1st prize on 8th International Competition “Giovani Musicisti – Citta di Treviso” in Italy
2015 – distinction on XIV Juliusz Zarebski International Competition in Warsaw
2014 – 1st place at the International Music Competition EUPlay in Genoa, Italy (Impression duo with the pianist Klaudyna Ochwat)
2012 – 3rd place at the Dr. Richard Bellon Young Soloists International Music Competition (Sulzbach, Germany)
2011 – being presented with the „Most Distinguished” title at the IBLA GRAND PRIZE International Music Competition in Sicily, Italy and won prize for the best performance of “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso” by Camille Saint – Saëns. She placed among the laureates who were awarded the main prize – a tour around the United States. Her concerts took place in Virginia, Arkansas and New York, where she had her debut at the Carnegie Hall.
2007 – 2nd place at the Bohdan Warchal „Talents for Europe” International Competition held in Dolny Kubin, Slovakia

She is also an ambassador of the My Way foundation which supports her in conscious development of her music career.
